Indian Navy's third P-15A naval destroyer Photos

The third and last of the Kolkata class warships- INS Chennai- a 6700 ton destroyer 163 metres long and 16 metres wide, was launched using the pontoon assisted method by Elizabeth Antony wife of A.K. Antony, Defence Minister of India. The ship will be armed with the supersonic Brahmos surface - to- surface missile systems to the long range surface - to- air missile system and indigenously developed twin tube torpedo launchers and rocket launchers.
