In 1939, Lina Medina from Peru, at the age of five made medical history by delivering a healthy child.
Her family brought her to see a doctor because they beleived she had some sort of tumor growing in her stomach. The family was shocked to find out that she was actually pregnant.
Her son, who was born a healthy 6 lb baby, was raised by Lina's parents. It was not until he was 10 that he found that Lina was actually his mother, not his sister as he had been told.
There is no evidence or documentation as to who the father of Lina's son was. Lina went on to marry and then have second child when she was 33.
