The Telangana agitation has had its impact on several film actors so far; and it was the turn of star comedian Brahmanandam to feel the heat of separatists on Monday.
Brahmi, who hails from Tenali, was forced to raise “Jai Telangana” slogans at the shooting of an untitled film at Kukatpalli.
As the shooting was in progress, some Telangana activists arrived there, shouting slogans. At that time, only Brahmanandam and heroine Ileana were present at the spot. They forced Brahmanandam to raise Jai Telangana slogans and asked the unit to pack up. However, the police entered the scene in the right moment and took the Telangana activists away.
The film, being directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by D.V.V. Daniah, has Allu Arjun and Ileana in the lead roles. The shooting was commenced on November 4.
