Young star Ram Charan Teja’s latest block buster “Racha,” which was released on Thursday, might have got mixed responses from film critics, but going by the account books as claimed by the producers, the film has set a new record with its opening day collections.
N V Prasad conducted a special press conference to announce that the Ram Charan-Tamannaah starrer has received the highest opening ever in the Telugu cinema.
"I am very pleased to announce that "Rachcha" has created history, breaking all records for the first day collections in Telugu cinema raking in a share of Rs 8.54 crores only in AP. It just goes to show the star power of Ram Charan," said Prasad.
The overseas collections records are not out yet. Well, we have not yet heard from the rivals – Mahesh Babu fan club. Get set for another war of words between the two camps.
